• Overton, Nevada - Do you know a child who is an aspiring archaeologist or wants to learn the ends and outs of archaeological research? The Lost City Museum will be hosting Kids Archaeology Day on May 19th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This free event will allow children to learn the process of archaeology by participating in a mock excavation and learning how to analyze the artifacts they find.  Students will learn about archaeology from a professional archaeologist in a hands-on way, from the excavation phase of an archaeological investigation to the analysis phase. Space is limited to 16 children from ages 7 to 13 so sign-up early.  For more information or to sign up for the event, please call the museum at (702) 397-2193.
